What is Shopify API call limit and how does it affects my reports?
As per Shopify, the API call limit is an algorithm which is designed to control the amount data which is sent out of Shopify’s API.
Shopify’s API is like a bucket which has all your store’s information. The bucket sends data when your report is pulling data from Shopify.
The rate at which the bucket releases the data is 2 calls per second. So, every second, the bucket (Shopify API) release very limited data to your report.
If your report is trying to pull 50 thousand or more orders from Shopify, then it will take some time for the report to pull all the data, before it can be exported.
